Easy-to-use personal
search and rescue locator!

When things don’t go as planned, Nautilus LifeLine is there to help when the unexpected happens. Things like storms, navigation errors, currents, dive emergencies, or boat engine problems are just a few scenarios that could cause someone to get lost or separated at sea.

In an emergency, quickly getting attention and calling for help is crucial. The Nautilus Marine Rescue GPS communicates your man overboard alert or routine position update (your choice) directly to boats, ships, and rescue craft around you.

The Nautilus LifeLine uses VHF radio waves to send digital signals to all vessels equipped with AIS (Automatic Identification System) and DSC (Digital Selective Calling) within rescue range.

Whether you’re a scuba diver, sailor, kayaker, or paddleboarder, the Nautilus LifeLine is an essential addition to your safety kit!

The nexGen LifeLine

  • Diver tough to 425 feet (130 meters)
  • GPS position accurate to 1 meter
  • 100 hours of transmit time
  • 54 km demonstrated range to an elevated antenna
  • Works worldwide (functionality may vary)
  • Free to use, no user fees
  • 5 year warranty

Send a distress signal or routine position update to nearby boats.

Distress Alert

When a distress signal is sent, the LifeLine will continuously transmit your distress signal with your position until deactivated. Vessels and rescue craft within range (up to 34 miles or ~55 km, depending on the height of the receiver’s antenna) will receive a “Man Overboard” alert, including your latitude and longitude coordinates accurate to 1 meter.

The “Man Overboard” alert tells rescuers they are looking for a person on the surface. This distinction is crucial, as it saves valuable time in an emergency.

Position Advisory

The benefit of this option is that it removes the conflict you might feel if you’re concerned that you haven’t been seen but are hesitant to trigger a full-blown search. It sends your coordinates and a “Position Alert” message to nearby boats without activating an emergency distress signal. If your boat is on the lookout, they’ll know where to find you!

Should your circumstances become critical, you can always fall back on the red button and “Distress Alert”.

In Arenui Liveaboard we have one for each of our guides for already some time and it’s one of our most prouds and essential dive tools we have, thanks for making this product and for making our dives and guest safer!!!

I had one of these for years. It was one of the original models with the VHF built in. It absolutely saved me. The boat I was diving from lost it’s engines. By the time I surfaced it had drifted a very long way. I was able to guide in a boat to get me prior to ever having to use the distress function. This is a must for and shore, boat, solo, travel diver. Easily one of the most important pieces of safety equipment. Unfortunately my og model had since passed after 15 years of travel with it and 100s of dives. Worth every penny. A tool you never want to use but will save your life if you have to.

I’ve had mine for a while now… ever since bobbing around in the Caribbean alone after a less than professional dive leader considered me a nuisance and let me surface alone after an air leak left me low on air early in the dive (I obviously made it ;-)). It’s been permanently attached to my BPW on my right shoulder ever since like a guardian angle.

Also consider it an excellent tool diving inland lakes and caverns as local SAR stations will pick up the signal.

Wouldn’t dive without mine…. Ever.

Its so cool. We had it diving en Revillagigedo, México, with Nautilus, and it makes you feel so safe, specially with big currents wanting to send you free to Hawaii 😂 😍

I bought one after my trip to Socorro. Now I can relax every dive that I’m covered with lifeline. I also bought one for my brother in Australia and then we bought them for the entire crew at work! 👏 🔥
